Singer, songwriter and art creator, your friend juniper, co-manages
an amazing art collective in Los Angeles called The Fuzz including
an in-home recording and production studio known as LeisureWorld
Productions. Beginning in musical theater and immersing herself in
it until college, juniper didn’t start playing the guitar or writing
her own material until 2015 when she attended Berklee College of
Music. While in school, juniper developed her skills learning the
piano, the guitar and how to record and produce her own music. After
graduating, juniper began pursuing her entrepreneurial and musical
passions inspired by a deep love for activism and an expansive
respect for the world.
So far your friend juniper has released 2 EPs and 5 singles
including “Lou Hardin” co-written and co-produced with her husband
Hugh Macdonald. This artist’s music is heavily inspired by her work
and knowledge as an activist always pushing to influence listeners
towards treating themselves, others and the world around them as
things of great value and holding on to their childlike sense of
wonder of the world.
Over the last month, your friend juniper has been locked away
writing, recording and producing her debut album titled “On The
Death Of A Philosopher”, which will include 8 of her newest
originals that were written over the pandemic.
Outside of her own songwriting, your friend juniper is a member of
her husband’s band under the name Fairhazel and co-hosts a live
music Clubhouse called Evening Tapes, which go live every Sunday on
Clubhouse at 6pm PST / 9pm EST.
